Behind The Scenes

Alongside our formal publications we publish regular updates on what's happening behind the scenes at Interaction. These updates are circulated via email to a number of widely used SF mailing lists, fanzines, etc, as well as being published here.

This page contains an archive of all of the updates produced from Conjosé onwards. We also published 9 issues of "From the Smokeless Backroom", our equivalent publication for the Bid phase, between Spring 2001 and Autumn 2002 - these can be found on the corresponding page on our Bid site.

Staff Weekends

Interaction will be running a series of Staff Weekends, under the banner of ConStruction, in the run-up to the convention itself. Although the main emphasis will be on Interaction itself, the event is also intended to be a wider opportunity to promote the sharing of knowledge for those interested in organising SF conventions, The aim is for convention organisers, (whether Interaction staff or not), to gather together to share their knowledge and experiences during a relaxing and fun weekend, in a convention-like atmosphere.

Full information on ConStruction II is now available here. We have secured excellent hotel rates and a convenient location for this second event in the series.

Holiday Inn, Swindon

Dates for the last three events are provisional at this stage. Similarly, locations have not yet been confirmed although one of the events is likely to be in Glasgow.
