Day Admissions
This part of the website contains everything you need to know about buying a Day Admission to Interaction.
The deadline for pre-con registration has now passed. Memberships will be on sale on the door at the convention from Wednesday 3 August. The hours of opening for membership sales are detailed here
What is Included?A Day Admission provides access to the Convention for a single calendar day of the convention, and gives access to all events happening on that day. This includes:
All of the above are included within our single admission price - there are no extras to pay! The only aspects of full membership which do not come with Day Admissions are WSFS rights (i.e. the right to vote in the Hugo Awards and Site Selection) and the right to receive convention publications including our Souvenir Book. The Souvenir Book will however be available for separate purchase at the Convention.
Day Admission RatesThe table below shows the Day Admission rates.
Please note that the Thursday and Monday activities do not run for a full day. Thursday activities build up from late morning, with full programme from early afternoon onwards. On Monday, activities stop in mid-afternoon with the closing ceremony. The rates for these days are lower as a result. If in doubt, you can check the programme schedule to see what is happening when. The Child Rate applies to those aged 7-15 at the start of the convention, i.e. on 4th August 2005. Infants - those aged 6 or under on that date - are free. Please note that all Children and Infants must be accompanied by an adult, and directly supervised other than when in our Childcare facilities or (for older children) in our Young Adult programme.
How to Join and PayWe will be accepting memberships on the door at the Convention, from Wednesday 3 August 2005. We will accept payment by Cash (GBP only), Cheque (drawn in GBP on a UK Bank account), or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex only). VISA, Mastercard and Amex memberships are processed in UK£ and Discover in US$. Please note that there is no limit on convention numbers so there is no risk that admissions will run out.
