Interaction Confirms Scandinavian Membership Rates

Interaction today confirmed its initial membership rates for the Scandinavian countries outside of the Eurozone (Denmark, Norway and Sweden - Finland is in the Eurozone for which rates have previously been announced). As the first Worldcon to feature a Scandinavian Guest of Honour (Lars-Olov Strandberg, the leading Swedish fan and co- founder of SFSF, the Scandinavian SF Association), Interaction is strongly promoting itself throughout the region, and hopes to attract a record number of Scandinavian fans. Local agents are in place across the region and senior members of the Interaction committee will also be attending Finncon X, the 2003 European Science Fiction Convention, in early August 2003.

The main Interaction rates, in Danish Krone (DKK), Norwegian Krone (NOK), Swedish Krona (SEK) and Euros (EUR) are as follows:

Full Attending 880 DKK, 900 NOK, 1090 SEK or 120 EUR
Supporting 350 DKK, 360 NOK, 440 SEK or 50 EUR
Child (7-15 years old on 4th August 2005) 380 DKK, 390 NOK, 460 SEK or 53 EUR
Infants (0-6 years old on 4th August 2005) Free

Reductions on these rates are available to Pre-Supporters and Friends of Interaction and to anyone who participated in the 2005 Site Selection Vote at the 2002 Worldcon, Conjosé. A full list of all rates and discounts is available on the Interaction website at
