Interaction Increases Attending Membership Rates, Expires Presupporter Discounts

Interaction, the 63rd World Science Fiction Convention, will increase its attending membership rate on 1^st December 2003 to £95 ($155/EUR 145).

The child (15 years and under) admission rate will remain at £32 ($50/EUR 50) with infants 6 and under remaining free. This reflects our policy to encourage families and children of all ages to attend the convention.

The rate for a supporting membership also stays unchanged at £30 ($45/EUR 45).

In addition, Interaction's pre-supporter discount will expire on 1^st December 2003. This discount is currently worth £13 ($20/EUR 20) and when combined with our current rates will bring a saving of £23 ($40/EUR 30) compared to the new attending membership rate as of 1^st December 2003. We therefore encourage our remaining pre-supporters to convert before the expiry date.

Friends of the UK in 2005 bid will continue to benefit from the reduced supporting to attending conversion rate of £30 ($45/EUR 45) compared to the standard rate for conversion, which will be £65 ($110/EUR 100) from 1^st December.

Interaction Memberships are available for immediate purchase at various conventions, through our web site, and via postal mail. Memberships can also be purchased by instalment plan, allowing membership costs to be spread over a period of up to 12 months.
