For immediate release: Tuesday 4 May 2004
Interaction Mails Armadillo Dreams #2
Interaction, the 2005 Worldcon, released the second issue of its
pre-convention Newsletter, "Armadillo Dreams", on 4th May 2004.
Interaction is producing three issues of Armadillo Dreams
in the run-up to the Convention, along with four Progress Reports.
This second issue features a round-up of Interaction's
activities since the Worldcon was awarded to Glasgow at Conjosé,
along with news and announcements from each of the Divisions.
We are also delighted to be publishing a further showcase
of UK fan writing.
Interaction members who joined the Convention after the mailing
of Progress Report 1 in August 2003 will also receive their back
copy of that publication in the next few weeks. Coordinating
back mailings helps the Convention to manage its distribution
costs which is especially important in view of the wide geographical
spread of Interaction's membership.
Newsletters and Progress Reports for all countries are being
mailed from Interaction's US office in Louisville, Kentucky this week.
US members' copies are being sent by standard (bulk) mail. Most non-US
members' copies are being dispatched by International Surface Air Lift
(ISAL) mail, with the remainder, mainly to countries that do not
participate in the ISAL program, going by ordinary air mail.
