We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.] INTERACTION, THE 63rd WORLD SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION http://www.interaction.worldcon.org.uk/ PRESS RELEASE #33 - Interaction Mails Progress Report #4 GLASGOW, Friday 8 April 2005 Hugo Award Final Ballot Released - News From Around the Convention - Masquerade Entry Details - Retrospective on 1995 Glasgow Worldcon Interaction, the 2005 Worldcon, released its fourth and final full Progress Report (PR4) on 6 April 2005. PR4 includes a wide range of articles and information from around the convention. Accompanying the PR will also be the Final Ballot form for the 2005 Hugo Awards. The final ballot process is open to all full members of Interaction who join the convention prior to the voting deadline of 8 July 2005. Features in PR4 include an overview of the convention site, based around the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre, and timings of key events. More information is also provided on many convention activities including the Masquerade, Video Programme, Childcare and Art Show. Also included is an extended look back at the 1995 Glasgow Worldcon, Intersection, and an invitation to a special reception for those members who have attended 4 or more of the previous 7 UK and European Worldcons. Finally, PR4 includes "Interthingy", the fourth and final in a series of fanzines by the Hugo-nominated Plokta Cabal who will be running the Interaction fan lounge and fan programming. The cover of PR4 is the final in a series of four designed by Hugo award winning artist Jim Burns, and inspired by the convention's riverside location and Glasgow's maritime history. US members' copies have been mailed by standard (bulk) mail. Most non-US members' copies have been mailed by International Surface Air Lift (ISAL) mail. A small number of copies, mostly to countries that do not participate in the ISAL program, have been sent by ordinary air mail. Copies of PR4 are expected to arrive with members during April and May 2005.
