These books will be launched at the convention and form an important part of our celebration of the work of our Guests. The first two of these books are being published by NESFA Press, and collect together short fiction and other work by Robert Sheckley and Jane Yolen. The third book contains critical essays on the work of Christopher Priest, and is being published by the Science Fiction Foundation. "The Masque of Mañana", edited by Sharon L. Sbarsky with an introduction by David G Hartwell and cover by Bob Eggleton, brings together the major short fiction of Robert Sheckley in a trade hardcover spanning over 40 stories and 576 pages. NESFA Press has previously published Dimensions of Sheckley, a companion collection of Robert Sheckley's short novels. Robert Sheckley is a winner of the Gallun award for contributions to the science fiction genre, and in 2001 he was given an Author Emeritus award by the Science Fiction Writers of America "Once Upon a Time (She Said)" edited by Priscilla Olson with a cover by Ruth Sanderson, brings togther over 40 short stories, 30 poems, and 6 essays by Jane Yolen. Jane is well known as the author of works as diverse as Owl Moon, Briar Rose, and How do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight? She writes fantasy and science fiction for children and adults and has won the Caldecott Medal, two Nebula Awards, two Christopher Medals, the World Fantasy Award, three Mythopoeic Fantasy Awards, the Golden Kite Award, the Jewish Book Award, the Association of Jewish Libraries Award, and the Skylark Award. "Christopher Priest: The Interaction", edited by Andrew M. Butler and with a cover by Colin Odell, presents ten essays on Christopher Priest's fiction by critics and reviewers including Andy Sawyer, Paul Kincaid, Graham Sleight and Butler himself, together with a comprehensive bibliography and list of sources. Andrew M Butler is a winner of the Pioneer Award for critical writing and is the author of five books in Harpenden's 'Pocket Essentials' series and co-editor of two of the SF Foundation's previous critical collections. The SF Foundation has previously published 'Parliament of Dreams: Conferring on Babylon 5', 'The True Knowledge of Ken MacLeod' and 'Terry Pratchett: Guilty of Literature' (now in its second edition).
