PRESS RELEASE #45 - Interaction & Waterstones Announce Author Signings in Glasgow Bookshop

GLASGOW, Thursday 28 July 2005

Interaction, the 63rd World Science Fiction Convention, and Waterstones, the UK bookshop chain, are pleased to announce that a number of science fiction authors visiting Glasgow for Interaction will take part in author events at the Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow branch of Waterstones.

Kevin J. Anderson, Ian McDonald, and Ian R. MacLeod will take part in a ticketed event on Thursday August 4th at 6.30pm. They will discuss the SF genre and sign copies of their books. Admission will be £3, which will be redeemable against the purchase of the promoted title at the event.

Terry Brooks will sign copies of ‘Straken: High Druid of Shannara’ on Saturday August 6th at 1pm. No ticket will be required.

Both events take place in Waterstones, 153-157 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow G2 3EW. Tel 0141 332 9105.
