Progress Reports and Newsletters
We published four Progress Reports and three Newsletters in the three year period running up to
Interaction. All of these publications are available for download.
At Con Publications
We published a number of publications at the convention. In addition to the Souvenir Book
(covered separately below), these included the Convention Guide, Ion Trails, Hugo
and Masquerade Programmes and an At Con Newsletter, The Port Authority. We will be
making all of these publications available for download here
over the coming weeks, starting with the At Con Newsletter.
Souvenir Book
We have some very special plans for our Souvenir Book including a limited Edition
Hardback signed by our Guests of Honour and cover artist Jim Burns. Full details
are available here.
Advertising and Sponsorship
Full information on advertising opportunities, terms and conditions and prices can be found
here. Although the convention is now past, we have left this information
here for archive purposes.
We also offered a range of additional sponsorship opportunities including the opportunity
to sponsor programme spaces, events, pocket programme and other items. Full details
can be found here.
If you prefer, you can also download a PDF file
(about 200 KB in size) containing all of our advertising and sponsorship
guidelines, pricing and an order form.
Sailing the Clyde
Alongside our more formal publications, we also published a regular electronic newsletter called
"Sailing the Clyde," from Conjoseé through to the end of 2004. This newsletter
contained regular updates on events behind the scenes at Interaction, and was circulated by email
to a number of widely used SF mailing lists, fanzines, etc, as well as being published here.
You can read all of the back issues of the newsletter below, going back to the award of the Worldcon
to Glasgow at Conjosé. We also published 9 issues of "From the Smokeless Backroom", our equivalent
publication for the Bid phase, between Spring 2001 and Autumn 2002 - these can be found
on the corresponding page on our Bid site.
Starting in January 2005, Sailing the Clyde was replaced by a Blog of the same name,
which you can find here. We switched
to a Blog to keep up with the increasing flow of news that always happens in the last year running
up to a Worldcon.
